Orange Dream Milkshake

If you are able to get honeybell oranges – use them in this recipe! My family and I just happened to be in Florida one year during their short picking season, which is how I learned that these amazing, delicious, sweet, juicy fruits even existed. This year my dad ordered them from an orchard in Florida and he was so nice to share with me. :)

Honeybell oranges were the inspiration for this Orange Dream Milkshake, but I tested it with regular oranges as well. They still make a yummy milkshake but it wasn’t quite as sweet. If you don’t add ice cream, try adding a packet of stevia or other sweetener of choice. I wouldn’t recommend using agave nectar in blended drinks, however, because it changes the taste a little bit IMO. Of course, you can make it without sweetener or ice cream and it’s still delicious and fruity.
